The house comes fully staffed with a cook, a maid/laundress and gardener.
Drake house is a 5 bedroom house located on the famous and exclusive Polo Ridge commanding panoramic views of the whole of the west coast and Caribbean sea and sitting in over an acre of tropically landscaped gardens. A one minute drive away, or a five minute walk, from beautiful Paynes Bay at the bottom of Holders Hill. The house has been renovated by the current owners to the highest standard.
All bedrooms are comfortably furnished and come with air conditioning, ceiling fans, room safes, and a choice of beds. The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed, an ensuite dressing room, bathroom and private sundeck.
There are a further four double bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, the other two sharing a further bathroom, and the fourth is currently being used as a staff area with access to a shower room in the courtyard.
One of the downstairs bedrooms has a double bed and the other two have twin beds which can be configured as either two single beds or one double in each case
Holders is of course the home of the Kidd family and the venue for the Holders season every March where open air concerts are given with former star performers such as Pavarotti, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Larry Adler and many more.
If you are a Polo enthusiast to the east of the property Polo is played during the winter and occasionally star players such as Jodie Kidd turn out for a chukka or two.
The house is also close to the golf courses at both Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland.
The house itself is layed out over two floors and formed in a U shape around the swimming pool and lounge overlooking the coast.
Adjacent to the well proportioned pool is the summer-house which is a great room to relax and unwind in.
